Destiny 2 players find monuments to popular characters in towers

Loss is nothing new in the world of Destiny 2, where players have seen a number of well-known characters come and leave over the years. Now that certain fan favorites have said goodbye during the Defiance season, they can be viewed in the tower. Players can access a new monument that is discovered during the journey. The most recent season's story has garnered more favorable reviews than Lightfall's post-launch campaign. Cayde is memorialized as a bust of the head of the Exo hunter, while Holliday is remembered as a bust of the Arcadia-class Jumpship, as it was the "poster ship" of the series. The remaining area around the memorial has been covered with a tarp, indicating that no one else will occupy the space after Holliday's death.

While Memorial has been well-received by many players online, it remains to be seen how much Amanda Holliday's departure will hit other characters she was close to. Crow, in particular, was devastated by Holliday's sacrifice and made it clear at her memorial service that he intends to exact revenge on the Legion of Shadows with the player's help.
